У вівторок на передвиборному мітингу Трамп знову поскаржився на мігрантів і заявив, що кров Америки отруєна.
«Вони приїжджають із Африки, з Азії, з Південної Америки. Вони руйнують кров нашої країни, руйнують структуру нашої країни.
Політичні опоненти та фахівці з екстремізму звинуватили Трампа у цитуванні книги Mein Kampf («Моя боротьба») Адольфа Гітлера. Там також йдеться про «чистоту крові» представників «нордичної раси».
Буквально на наступному мітингу Трамп поспішив відкинути ці звинувачення.
"Я ніколи не читав Mein Kampf" - сказав він натовпу прихильників. Він знову звинуватив Байдена в тому, що мігранти «течуть у країну» і можуть принести нові хвороби. Але про «чистоту крові» республіканець більше не згадував.
