Президент США Дональд Трамп, у якого діагностували зараження коронавірусом, збирається взяти участь в теледебатах зі своїм опонентом від Демократичної партії Джо Байденом.

Про це заявив представник штабу Трампа Тім Мертау, повідомляє американський телеканал CNN.

2 жовтня у Трампа виявився позитивний тест на коронавірус. Менш ніж за 72 години, він уже повернувся в Білий дім з госпіталю, заявивши, що почувається добре, але за рекомендацією медиків ще буде приймати деякі ліки.

Крім цього, Трамп збирається на дебати з Байденом, які відбудуться 15 жовтня.

“Президент має намір провести дебати”, – зазначив Мертау.

Другі дебати кандидатів в президенти США заплановані на 15 жовтня в Майамі, а треті – 22 жовтня в Нешвіллі.
