Третя світова війна почнеться, якщо США спробує силою повернути Крим Україні.

Про це заявив кандидат в президенти США від Республіканської партії Дональд Трамп, пише Українська правда з посиланням на Politico.

Трамп висміяв те, як в пресі подавалося його інтерв'ю кореспонденту ABC News Джорджу Стефанопулосу. Журналісти звинуватили Трампа в тому, що він не знав про вторгнення Росії до Криму, який в 2014 році був анексований.

"Я знаю це точно. Це було приблизно два роки тому. Приблизно. Він був узятий, поки Обама спостерігав", - сказав Трамп, виступаючи перед прихильниками в штаті Огайо.

Трамп розповів, що коли в інтерв'ю він сказав Стуфанопулосу, що Росія не збирається вторгатися в Україну, журналіст відповів Трампу, що "вона вже в Україні".

"Я сказав, так, добре, це було два роки тому. Я маю на увазі, ви хочете, повернути, ви хочете почати Третю світову війну, щоб отримати його назад? Це відбулося поки Обама спостерігав", - заявив Трамп.

Як відомо, в інтерв'ю телеканалу ABC News кандидат у президенти США Дональд Трамп заявив, що більшість мешканців Криму зробили вибір на користь Росії і  США мають це враховувати.

Раніше Трамп заявив, що готовий розглянути визнання Криму частиною Росії і питання зняття санкцій у разі обрання на пост глави держави. У Держдепі назвали заяву Трампа передвиборною риторикою.
