Для того, чтобы быть выдвинутым на пост президента, необходимо 1 237 голосов, сообщает Associated Press.

Впрочем, американский миллиардер получил даже на один голос больше и теперь имеет возможность сменить Обаму на посту.

"Я думаю, что он импонирует той части нашего электората, которой не нравится, в каком состоянии сейчас страна. У меня нет никаких проблем с поддержкой господина Трампа", - подчеркнула председатель Республиканской партии в Оклахоме Пэс Полланд.
