Про це Трамп написав у серії твітів, у відповідь на скандал, який виник після його коментарів на адресу ведучих телеканалу MSNBC.
Раніше Трамп назвав ведучих популярної телепрограми "божевільними" та "тупими". Атаки Трампа на журналістів викликали хвилю критики в політичних колах США.
"Пане президенте, ваш твіт недостойний і демонструє найгіршу сторону американської політики, а не велич Америки", - звернувся до Трампа сенатор Ліндсі Грем.
Трамп тоді написав, що використовує соціальні мережі як "сучасний президент".
"Фейкові та шахрайські ЗМІ старанно працюють, щоб переконати республіканців та інших в тому, що я не повинен використовувати соціальні мережі. Але запам'ятайте, я виграв вибори 2016 року завдяки інтерв'ю, виступам та соціальним мережам", - написав він.
