Президент США Дональд Трамп заявив, що на зустрічі з президентом РФ Володимиром Путіним у Гельсінкі 16 липня обговорить питання втручання Росії в американські вибори.

Спілкуючись з журналістами, глава Білого дому також зазначив, що під час саміту він обговорить конфлікти в Сирії та Україні та інші міжнародні проблеми.

"Я обговорю з ним (Путіним - ред.) все. "Ми будемо говорити про Україну, про Сирію, про вибори ... ми не хочемо, щоб хто-небудь втручався у вибори", - наглосив американський президент.

Також він ухилився від відповідні про те, чи скасує він санкції проти РФ.

"Ми побачимо, що Росія буде робити", - зауважив Трамп.

Нагадаємо, президент Російської Федерації Володимир Путін і президент США Дональд Трамп зустрінуться у столиці Фінляндії - Гельсінкі 16 липня. Трамп останнім часом знову почав висловлюватися на користь інтересів Росії. Зокрема, його останні заяви про необхідність повернути РФ до складу "Великої вісімки", порушили плани прем'єр-міністра Терези Мей про міжнародної ізоляції Росії у відповідь на провокацію в Солсбері.
