Американський письменник Стівен Кінг порівняв президента США Дональда Трампа з дементором із серії книг «Гаррі Поттер». Про це він написав у Twitter в п'ятницю, 16 червня., передає УНІАН.

Так Кінг відповів на твіт автора поттеріани Джоан Роулінг, яка запитала письменника, якого книжкового персонажа за мірою божевілля йому нагадує Трамп.

«Я не головний шанувальник Дональда, так що не будемо чіпати Енні Уілкс (антагоніст з роману Кінга "Мізері" — прим. ред.). Думаю, в ньому більше від дементора», — написав він.

13 червня Кінг заявив, що Трамп заблокував його у Twitter. «Можливо, мені доведеться покінчити із собою», — зазначив письменник. У травні письменник порівняв допуск Трампа до ядерної кнопки з найстрашнішим хоррором. У квітні Кінг назвав президента США курячим послідом і зажадав у Трампа опублікувати податкові звіти. Стівен Кінг написав такі книги, як «Сяйво», «Воно», «Керрі», «Зелена миля» і «Кладовище домашніх тварин».
