Сатирический мультфильм называется "Становление Дональда Трампа" и исследует истоки желания Трампа стать президентом. Автор в шутку предполагает, что в этом решении мог сыграть роль Барак Обама.

Сам Стивен Кольбер с сентября 2015 года ведет передачу "Позднее шоу со Стивеном Кольбером" на канале CBS. Кроме того, он известен ролями в фильмах "Хоббит: Пустошь Смауга", "Монстры против пришельцев" и "Колдунья".

Как стало известно, новым президентом США станет республиканец Дональд Трамп. В ходе голосования он набрал более 270 голосов – минимальный барьер для победы в выборах. Процедура формального голосования выборщиков состоится 19 декабря, а 6 января 2017 года Конгресс утвердит его итоги. Инаугурация избранного президента намечена на 20 января.
