Бывший вице-президент США и кандидат в президенты на следующих выборах Джо Байден призывает провести расследование в отношении Дональда Трампа, который якобы оказывал давление на президента Украины Владимира Зеленского. Как информирует PRпортал со ссылкой на Reuters, Байден подчеркнул, что президент США злоупотребляет властью.
«Похоже, это чрезмерное злоупотребление властью. Позвонить по телефону иностранному лидеру, который просит помощи у США, спросить обо мне и намекать на расследование ... это возмутительно», - подчеркнул он во время встречи со своими сторонниками. Также политик указал на то, что Дональд Трамп будет использовать все возможности, чтобы очернить его и повысить свой собственный рейтинг. Бывший вице-президент призвал американцев отстранить действующего президента США и не дать ему полномочий на такие поступки.
При этом во время своего обращения Байден ни разу не упомянул имя президента Украины, однако из его речи было понятно, что он говорит о телефонном звонке Владимиру Зеленскому.
