Співробітники американського посольства в Україні Джордж і Велида Кент спорудили макет столичного Андріївського узвозу з імбирного печива, пише Новое время.

"Будинки на узвозі дійсно виглядають як імбирне печиво. І ми подумали: чому не зробити справжнє імбирне печиво?", - заявив Джордж Кент.

Всього конструкція включає в себе сорок будинків, церкви, а також ресторани і торгові точки, розташовані на Андріївському узвозі.

Співробітники посольства також провели електричну підсвічування всередину пряникових будиночків, що створює ефект освітлення "будівель" зсередини.

Своє кулінарне творіння співробітники подружжя Кент приурочило до Дня святого Миколая.
