Менні Пак'яо був обраний лідером правлячої філіппінської партії FDP-Laban. За інформацією джерела, у планах іменитого боксера балотуватися на посаду президента у 2022 році.

Наразі 41-річний Пак'яо володіє титулом WBA (Всесвітньої боксерської асоціації) у напівсередній вазі (до 66,7 кг). За свою кар'єру провів 69 боїв, здобув 60 перемог і 2 рази зазнав поразку. Багаторазовий чемпіон світу в 8 вагових категоріях.
