Создатели популярного мультсериала "Симпсоны" в одной из серий за 2000 год показали сцену с участием персонажа с характерной для миллиардера Дональда Трампа прической, играющего роль кандидата в президенты США. В 2015 году эта сцена воплотилась в жизни.

В видео сравниваются вымышленная и реальная сцена. На первой из них показан герой мультсериала с напоминающей Трампа прической, едущий на эскалаторе и приветствующий своих сторонников, на второй – настоящая поездка кандидата в президенты США. В обоих случаях вымышленный и реальный Трамп делает одинаковые движения: приветственно машет рукой и показывает большой палец. Кроме того, в жизни повторилось падение листа бумаги, который держал один из сторонников кандидата в мультфильме.

Главное отличие сцен заключается в спутниках Трампа: в серии "Симпсонов" его сопровождает Гомер Симпсон, в реальной жизни – жена Меланья Трамп.

Речь идет о серии "Трампастическое путешествие" (Trumptastic Voyage), в которой Гомер попадает в мир волос Трампа, являющихся одной из его "визитных карточек".

В другой серии – "Барт в будущем" (Bart to the Future), которая вышла в эфире 19 марта 2000 года, была показана конкурентная борьба Трампа и сестры Барта Лизы, которая в итоге стала первой женщиной-президентом США.
