Шведський музичний гурт ABBA і найбільший холдинг лейблів звукозапису в музичній індустрії Universal Music зажадали від кандидата в президенти США від Республіканської партії Дональда Трампа припинити використання музики групи під час своєї передвиборчої кампанії. Про це повідомило видання The Gaze.

«Разом з учасниками ABBA ми дізналися про випуск відео з музикою ABBA, яка лунає на заходах Трампа, і вимагаємо негайного припинити це та видалити його», — йдеться в заяві компанії Universal Music.

Там також додали, що не отримували запитів від команди політика на використання музики та не видавали на це дозволи.

Шведська газета Svenska Dagbladet пише, що під час передвиборчого мітингу Трампа в Міннесоті в липні з гучномовців лунали хіти ABBA «The Winner Takes It All», «Money, Money, Money» і «Dancing Queen».
