Розслідування почалося через запис дзвінка Трампа держсекретареві Бреду Раффенспергеру 2 січня. Як повідомляється, Трамп тиснув на держсекретаря для скасування результатів виборів у штаті.

"Офіс секретаря штату розслідує отримані ним скарги... Будь-які подальші правові дії залишаться за генпрокурором", - сказав Джонс.
