Колишній кандидат у президенти США Берні Сандерс підтримав іншого кандидата Джо Байдена у боротьбі із чинним очільником Білого дому Дональдом Трампом на майбутніх виборах.

 Сандерс вибув із боротьби за крісло у Білому домі на минулому тижні. Таким чином Байден став єдиним суперником Трампа. 

Представник демократів вже подякував Сандерсу за підтримку. 

Колишній кандидат закликав американців об’єднатись для перемоги над Трампом. 

За його словами, очільник Білого дому – "найбільш небезпечний президент у сучасній історії країни". 

"Сьогодні я прошу всіх американців, прошу кожного демократа, кожного, хто не визначився, прошу республіканців об’єднатись у цій кампанії, щоб підтримати кандидата, якого підтримав і я", – сказав Сандерс.

13 квітня стало відомо, що Джо Байден переміг Берні Сандерса на президентських праймеріз у штаті Вісконсін. 

На минулому тижні сенатор Берні Сандерс вийшов з виборчих перегонів у США і не буде боротися за номінацію від Демократично партії на президентських виборах.
