Американский авторитетный финансово-экономический журнал Forbes, свежий номер которого когда-то выходил каждую неделю, еще больше сокращает количество выпусков в год.

Как сообщает газета New York Post, в следующем году выйдет уже 10, а не 14 печатных номеров. Это произойдет на фоне сокращения 20 сотрудников.

Под сокращения попали, в частности, вице-президент по информационным технологиям Брайан Фил и фото-директор Майкл Хадлоу. Кроме того, принято решение не нанимать никого на должность ушедшего в Los Angeles Times директора по продукту Льюиса Дворкина.

По словам представителя издания, сейчас Forbes большесфокусирован на цифровой и мобильной версиях. "Эти перемены позволят нам сделать больше инвестиций в нашу эффективную журналистику и расследовательскую отчетность, которыми так знаменит Forbes", – говорят в журнале.

Напомним, с 2018 года сократить тиражи своих основных изданий, чтобы снизить расходы, собирается и самый крупный издатель журналов в США и Великобритании Time Inc.
