Росія, боячись санкцій за анексію Криму, в 2014 році вивела зі США $155 млрд за допомогою підставних компаній.

Згідно повідомлення, невдовзі після вторгнення Росії до Криму, ряд іноземних холдингів несподівано отримав $155 млрд прибутку, які одразу були виведені за межі Сполучених Штатів.

На правах анонімності двоє чиновників Федеральної резервної служби (ФРС) США підтвердили, що це були гроші російського Центрбанку, який таким чином намагався уникнути заморозки своїх вкладів.

"Не дивлячись на офіційну риторику Росії, в ФРС прийшли до висновку, що Росія вельми побоюється заморожування своїх активів на території США", - цитує агентство колишнього співробітника ФРС.

Проте, за його словами, приблизно через півроку Росія повернула ці кошти назад до США, вирішивши, що санкції не зачеплять їхні активи, але урядові служби США на сьогодні вже відслідковують їх в очікувані посилення санкцій проти Росії.
