Британская рок-группа The Rolling Stones запретила кандидату в президенты США от Республиканской партии Дональду Трампу использовать во время своей предвыборной кампании их музыку, сообщает BBC.

"Rolling Stones никогда не давали кампании Трампа разрешения на использование своих песен и требуют, чтобы это было немедленно прекращено", – говорится в заявлении группы.

Представители Трампа не комментировали запрет рокеров.

Сообщается, что во время предвыборной кампании Трамп "крутил" несколько хитов Rolling Stones, в том числе "Sympathy for the Devil", "Brown Sugar" и "Start Me Up".

Отметим, что с такой же инициативой выступал Элтон Джон.

Напомним, ранее лидер Aerosmith Стивен Тайлер запретил одному из кандидатов от Республиканской партии США Дональду Трампу использовать песни группы на предвыборных мероприятиях.
