Визнання положень газового контракту Тимошенко незаконними є реальною перемогою України і повинно стати першим кроком у наведенні порядку в газовій сфері.  Про це у коментарі для From.ua заявив політичний експерт Володимир Цибулько.

"В той же час, для самої Тимошенко це рішення матиме самі фатальні наслідки. Перш за все, можна очікувати падіння електоральних рейтингів лідерки "Батьківщини". Адже, як виявилося, штучно завищені ціни на газ забрали значні суми з кишені кожної української родини, і в першу чергу це стало болісним ударом для виборців "Батьківщини", переважно незаможних споживачів газу", - вважає експерт.

Судове рішення незалежного арбітражу нанесе удар по міжнародним напрацюванням Тимошенко. Звинувачення у мільярдній корупції - це привід для іноземних політиків відмовитися від спілкування з "токсичним" політиком. Очевидно, що іноземні політики не будуть своїм ім'ям покривати оборудки української корупціонерки.

Рішення арбітражу може нести і конкретні юридичні наслідки. Так, свого часу, рішення американського суду по кримінальному процесу досить швидко визнало провину персонально Лазаренка, проте, рішення по цивільному провадженню було прийняте лише зараз. У справі контрактів Тимошенко-Путіна може статися навпаки: спочатку визнано неправомірним комерційний контракт, а потім з'являться докази і рішення щодо персональної вини і корупційного інтересу.

"Показово, що інформація про рішення арбітражу стала нокаутом для самої Тимошенко. Реакція її штабу спочатку була комічною, коли вони заявили, що саме завдяки її контракту стала можливою перемога у суді. Подальші реакції є безпорадними та емоційними, проти таких залізних аргументів, дійсно, оборонятися неможливо" - вважає Цибулько.
