В США 45% граждан одобряют политику президента страны Дональда Трампа, что является рекордным показателем его рейтинга с начала президентского срока (с 20 января 2017 года).

Об этом свидетельствуют данные опроса аналитического агентства Gallup, передает Новое время

Такой результат является самым высоким с момента вступления Трампа в должность. На протяжении всего срока президентства рейтинги Трампа были значительно ниже, чем у его предшественников.

Отмечается, что такой же процент поддержки граждан был зафиксирован в первую неделю после инаугурации Трампа в начале 2017 года.

По данным опроса, 90% одобряющих деятельность президента Трампа – республиканцы, 10% - демократы. Среди избирателей, которые не являются членами ни одной из партий, рейтинг нынешнего президента США составляет 42%.

Эксперты Gallup связывают рост поддержки Трампа с его встречей с северокорейским лидером Ким Чен Ыном, которую наблюдатели назвали исторической.

С конца апреля поддержка Трампа избирателями начала расти, превысив 40%, что аналитики связывают с рекордно низкими показателями безработицы за последние десятилетия и началом диалога с КНДР по ядерному разоружению Корейского полуострова. 

Опрос был проведен 11-17 июня по телефону, в нем участвовали чуть более 1,5 тысячи человек.
