У Верховній Раді підготують новий варіант Виборчого кодексу, який закріпить пропорційну систему з відритими списками.

 "У будь-якому випадку буде новий варіант: або доопрацьований минулий, або новий Виборчий кодекс. Бо з одного боку треба зробити якісний документ, якісний закон, по якому після цього можна буде проводити нормальні вибори в Україні, але – на це піде деякий час. Тому говорити, що це буде скоро – не дуже коректно".

"Ця дискусія на часі, бо наступні вибори починаються після того, як закінчуються попередні, тому займатися підготовкою закону треба завчасно".

На запитання, чи буде в новому законі закладатися пропорційна система з відкритими списками, Разумков сказав: "Думаю, що так".

Він додав, що згідно з останніми опитуваннями, 66% людей хочуть, щоб вибори були саме за пропорційною системою.

Водночас спікер Ради не зміг відповісти, чи новий Виборчий кодекс з’явиться до Нового року. Він висловив сподівання, що це буде зроблено якомога швидше, але швидкість не вплине на якість.

13 вересня президент Володимир Зеленський ветував Виборчий кодекс.
