У середу, 8 вересня, депутати Верховної Ради закликали міжнародну спільноту не визнавати вибори до Державної Думи Росії, які відбудуться 19 вересня, оскільки Москва планує залучити до голосування людей з окупованих Криму та Донбасу.

Відповідну постанову підтримали на засіданні парламенту, інформують #Букви.

Зокрема, постанову підтримали 318 нардепів, ніхто не виступив проти, фракція “Опозиційна платформа – За життя” у голосуванні участі не брала. 

У пояснювальній записці зазначається, що російська влада планує залучити до виборів жителів окупованого Донбасу, які примусово отримали російські паспорти.

“Ці дії зухвало порушують основні норми міжнародного права. Проведення виборів у Державну Думу Російської Федерації на тимчасово окупованій території України є незаконним, а отже, унеможливлює визнання їхніх результатів”, – йдеться у документі.

Ініціатори постанови також нагадали, що такі дії засудили Генеральна Асамблея ООН, Європейський Союз, НАТО та низка інших міжнародних організацій та урядів інших країн.
