После президентских выборов в России, проведение которых запланировано на следующий год, глава Кремля Владимир Путин может начать выполнять условия Минских договоренностей. Как передает «Обозреватель», соответствующая точка зрения была озвучена российско-американским экономистом Сергеем Алексашенко, в настоящее время проживающим в Вашингтоне.

Эксперт считает подобный сценарий вполне вероятным для реализации. «Я считаю, что ситуация, которая на сегодняшний день наблюдается на Донбассе, для Кремля является источником достаточно серьезного дискомфорта. Донбасс для Москвы можно сравнить с определенным чемоданом без ручки: его тяжело нести и жалко просто так оставить»,- утверждает Алексашенко. «Совершенно неоспоримым является только один факт: до выборов президента Путин не станет совершать какие-либо изменения в ту или иную сторону. Электорат на это может по-своему прореагировать, а нынешний российский лидер совершенно в этом не заинтересован. Сейчас политическая жизнь в России попросту остановилась еще с января 2017 года и все в ожидании марта 2018-го. А уже после этого следует рассчитывать на определенные телодвижения», - сделал вывод экономист.
