Президент России Владимир Путин подписал федеральный закон "О внесении изменений в ст.6 Федерального закона "Об увековечении победы советского народа в Великой отечественной войне 1941 - 1945 годов" и ст.20.3 Кодекса РФ об административных правонарушениях"

Как сообщает пресс-служба Кремля, "закон принят в целях уточнения оснований и усиления мер административной ответственности за пропаганду и публичное демонстрирование нацистской атрибутики или символики либо публичное демонстрирование атрибутики или символики экстремистских организаций"

Как уточняет телеканал Дождь, под закон попадает и символика украинских националистов, в частности, сторонников Степана Бандеры.

Инициаторы закона, Владимир Крупенников и Сергей Железняк, отмечали, что в "государственном перевороте в Украине активно принимали участие организации, использующие символику и атрибутику организации украинских националистов С.Бандеры".

В качестве наказания предусматривается штраф для физических лиц от 1000 до 2000 рублей, 1000 до 4000 рублей - для должностных лиц и от 10 000 до 50 000 рублей для юридических лиц (в целом от 300 до 15 тыс. грн по курсу НБУ).

Тем временем эксперты-историки называют этот закон парадоксальным, ведь он фактически запрещает в России использование собственного государственного флага. Ведь он также попадает под запрет из-за того, что нынешний российский триколор и георгиевскую ленту в свое время использовали воины Российской Освободительной Народной Армии под командованием генерала Власова, которая воевала на стороне гитлеровской Германии.
