Президент России Владимир Путин назначил на 22 апреля общероссийское голосование по изменениям в Конституцию, которые позволят ему остаться у власти до 2036 года.

Соответствующий указ президента РФ опубликован на сайте Кремля.

"Назначить на 22 апреля 2020 г. общероссийское голосование по вопросу одобрения изменений в Конституцию Российской Федерации, предусмотренных статьей 1 Закона Российской Федерации о поправке к Конституции Российской Федерации «О совершенствовании регулирования отдельных вопросов организации и функционирования публичной власти", - говорится в документе.

На голосование будет вынесен один вопрос: "Вы одобряете изменения в Конституцию Российской Федерации?" Ранее российский Конституционный суд признал легитимным обнуление сроков Путина.

Конституционную поправку внесла в Госдуму депутат-"единоросс" Валентина Терешкова.

Она позволяет Владимиру Путину избираться после истечения своего срока в 2024 году.

По действующей российской Конституции Путин не может участвовать в выборах президента в 2024 году, поскольку сейчас, с 2018 года, он находится на втором подряд президентском сроке.
