Екс-прокурор США Пріт Бхарара отримав кілька несподіваних телефонних дзвінків від Дональда Трампа.

Про це він розказав під час першого після звільнення інтерв'ю в ефірі ABC News, пише ТСН із посиланням на CNN.

За його словами, він навіть відчув дежавю, коли спостерігав за свідченнями Комі (екс-директора ФБР) про зв'язки із Трампом.

За словами Бхарари, Трамп запросив поспілкуватися через кілька тижнів після виборів і нібито просив, щоб той залишався на посаді. Трамп телефонував йому двічі під час перехідного періоду з метою нібито "просто потріпатися". "Це було трохи незручно", - сказав Бхарара.

Ще один телефонний дзвінок відбувся вже у березні, після вступу Трампа на посаду. "Я відмовився відповісти на дзвінок", - заявив Бхарара. А через 22 години після останнього дзвінка Бхарарі було запропоновано піти у відставку разом з іншими американськими прокурорами.

Нагадаємо, що у генерального прокурора США Джеффа Сешнса під час слухань у Сенаті США поцікавляться про звільнення директора ФБР Джеймса Комі і зустрічі з російськими офіційними особами.
