Чистий прибуток компанії за квартал склав $1,51 млрд, це майже втричі вище $512 млрд, зафіксованих на тому ж періоді минулого року.

Більш ніж в півтора рази зросла і виручка за перший квартал: з $3,54 до $5,38 млрд, перевищивши прогнози аналітиків.

Основний дохід компанії приносить реклама.

Зокрема, за минулий період більше доходу стала приносити реклама в основному мобільному додатку соцмережі, зазначає Bloomberg. Очікується і подальше зростання, зокрема завдяки рекламі в Instagram.

Після публікації звіту акції Facebook на продовжених торгах виросли на 9,5%, зростання щодо вартості в минулому році склало 33%.
