Президенты Польши, Словакии, Чехии и Венгрии - Анжей Дуда, Зузана Чапутова, Милош Земан и Янош Адер выступили с совместным заявлением, в котором "выразили глубокое беспокойство относительно президентских выборов в Беларуси, результаты которых не были приняты белорусским обществом".
Об этом сообщает Радио Свобода.
Лидеры стран V4 призвали "органы Белорусской республики открыть путь к политическому решению, соблюдать главные права и свободы человека, отойти от использования насилия в отношении мирных демонстрантов и одновременно организовать новые, международно легитимные и признаваемое выборы".
Президенты стран Вышеградской "четверки" поддержали "право белорусского народа на свободные, честные и демократические президентские выборы". Лидеры стран V4, говорится далее в заявлении, приветствуют проведение экстренной встречи лидеров ЕС с целью "начать диалог между представителями белорусских органов и обществом".
Президенты Польши, Чехии, Словакии и Венгрии призвали также "иностранных деятелей воздержаться от действий, которые подрывали независимость и суверенитет Блоруси".
