Зокрема, напередодні два очільники відомих американський компаній - Intel та Under Armour – Браян Кржанич та Кевін Планк сповістили про наміри покинути бізнесову раду, яка функціонує при президентові США. Причиною для цього слугувала обмежена реакція Трампа на події, які сколихнули раніше Шарлотсвілль.
Щоправда ці бізнес-радники не стали першими, хто відреагував на події в Шарлотсвіллі: напередодні про свій вихід заявив керівник однієї з найбільших фармацевтичних компаній світу Merck & Co. Кеннет Фрейз'єр. Слід нагадати, що 12 серпня в місті Шарлотсвілль, штат Вірджинія, відбулися масові сутички між представниками білих націоналістів та антирасистів. В результаті цього загинула одна жінка та ще 19 людей були поранені. В свою чергу президент Трамп виступив з осудом вчинків расистів не відразу.
Як повідомляв PRпортал , раніше колишній директор з комунікацій Білого дому Ентоні Скарамуччі заявив, що в адміністрації президента працюють люди, які виступають за відставку нинішнього президента США, а Штаб кампанії за переобрання Дональда Трампа на наступних виборах випустив перший агітаційний ролик — з нападками на демократів.
