Президент Колумбії Хуан Мануель Сантос передасть увесь грошовий еквівалент Нобелівської премії миру, яку він отримав минулого тижня, сім'ям жертв громадянського конфлікту в країні, пише ВВС України

"#НобельМиру належить колумбійцям, особливо тим, хто постраждав через війну. Ми з моєю родиною вирішили передати гроші жертвам", - написав голова держави в Twitter.

Грошовий еквівалент Нобелівської премії миру становить 8 млн шведських крон (близько 975 тис. дол.).

Наприкінці вересня Хуан Мануель Сантос та лідер лівого повстанського угрупування ФАРК Тимолеон Хіменес, відомий під псевдонімом "Тимошенко",домовилися укласти перемир'я після 50-річного конфлікту.
