Премʼєр-міністр Великої Британії Девід Кемерон піде у відставку в жовтні цього року.

Про це він заявив у своєму зверненні до нації після того, як стали відомі результати референдуму про вихід Британії з ЄС, повідомляє Європейська правда

За його словами, він зробить все для того, аби "стабілізувати корабель" (тобто зменшити наслідки потрясінь у звʼязку з виходом Британії з ЄС) протягом найближчих тижнів і місяців.

Кемерон у своєму зверенні наголосив на тому, що "переговори про нові стосунки з ЄС розпочне новий прем'єр-міністр".

Він також відзначив, що наступного тижня відвідає Брюссель для того, щоб пояснити в ЄС рішення британського народу.

Нагадаємо, за результатами референдуму 23 червня, за вихід Британії з ЄС проголосували 51,9% виборців, тоді як за те, щоб залишитися у складі ЄС, проголосували 48,1%.
