Премьер-министр Австралии Малкольм Тернбулл спародировал президента США Дональда Трампа во время выступления на ежегодном балу, организованном для представителей СМИ.

Об этом сообщает Европейськая правда со ссилкой на 9news.com.au.

Видео было снято на мобильный телефон. Обычно на этом балу выступление премьера и других политиков не записываются и не обнародуются.

Однако журналист одного из телеканалов, которого там не было, решил опубликовать видео, заявив, что на подобных мероприятиях не должно быть запрета на съемку.

"Идея о том, чтобы не было утечки информации, когда в комнате находятся сотни людей с мобильными телефонами, просто смешна", - сказал журналист Лори Окс.

Тернбулл пародировал манеру Трампа и шутил как об американском президенте, так и о системе социологических опросов в самой Австралии.

"Дональд и я, мы побеждаем и побеждаем в опросах. Мы так много побеждаем. Мы побеждаем так, как мы никогда не ранее побеждали", - сказал Тернбулл под аплодисменты и смех присутствовавших.

Офис Тернбулла гневно отреагировал на обнародование видео, а сам премьер заявил, что разочарован: "Это нарушение протокола, это нарушение доверия и всех подобных вещей".

Напомним, в феврале СМИ сообщали, что телефонный разговор Трампа и Тернбулла закончился раньше запланированного из-за того, что президент США бросил трубку.
