Посол Сполучених Штатів в Україні Марі Йованович вважає, що так звана "гібридна війна" Російської Федерації проти України почалася ще до виникнення даного терміну.

Про це вона заявила під час представлення дослідження "Аудит зовнішньої політики", повідомляє кореспондент "Європейської правди".

"Я зараз скажу достатньо грубо, але протягом 25 років після набуття Україною незалежності ваша країна перебуває в умовах гібридної війни з Росією", - зазначила посол.

Серед інструментів, які використовувала Росія, вона зазначила, зокрема, пропаганду.

Йованович підкреслила підтримку України Сполученими Штатами та нагадала, що нещодавно США розширили санкції, накладені на РФ через її агресивні дії.

"В Конгресі США є чітка більшість на підтримку України. Серед громадян США також є така підтримка".

"Єдність ніколи не приходить сама собою. Кожна адміністрація постійно оцінює ризики та можливості і обирає, куди варто інвестувати політичний капітал. І Україна має історію успіху, яка дозволяє сподіватися на успіх підтримки США", - зазначила вона.
