За попередніми офіційними даними, на виборах у Каталонії більшість місць у парламенті отримують політичні сили, що виступають за незалежність регіону.

Про це повідомляє "Європейська правда" з посиланням на La Vanguardia.

Водночас серед лідерів за кількістю голосів і "соціалісти", які проти незалежності. 

За даними обробки понад 99% протоколів, соціалісти з PSC отримують 33 місця у парламенті Барселони, сепаратистські "Республіканська лівиця" ERC та "Разом за незалежність" (Junts) - 33 і 32 місця відповідно, а решта політичних сил - 11 місць і менше.  

Пронезалежницькі сили загалом отримують 74 місця з необхідних для більшості 68. Загалом у парламенті Барселони 135 місць.

 
 
 

У зв’язку з епідемією, ці вибори встановили рекорд за низькою явкою - на дільниці прийшли 53,5% виборців. 

Спершу уряд Каталонії, очолюваний партіями, які виступають за незалежність, через тривожну епідемічну ситуацію пропонував перенести голосування з 14 лютого на 30 травня. Противники рішення стверджували, що зміна дати є порушенням закону.
