Вибори у Нідерландах з приголомшливим результатом виграли ультраправі на чолі з Гертом Вілдерсом: він не підтримує подальшу передачу зброї Україні, — NOS.
Нідерланди очікують на тривалий процес утворення коаліцїі. Переговори будуть важкими, оскільки інші партії заявили, що мають серйозні сумніви щодо співпраці з Вілдерсом через його відверту антиісламську позицію (заборона мечетей, Корану).
Сам ж Вілдерс — прихильник політики угорського прем’єра Орбана, він відкрито виступає проти ЄС, закликаючи Нідерланди контролювати кордони та блокувати приєднання будь-яких нових членів.
Він також неодноразово заявляв, що Нідерланди повинні припинити постачати зброю Україні, кажучи, що зброя потрібна їм для захисту. Однак жодна з партій, з якими він потенційно міг би сформувати уряд, не поділяє цих ідей.
Чи вийде в нього створити коаліцію на умовах, які влаштують інші партії для співпраці? Побачимо, адже цей процес у Нідерландах може тривати місяцями.
