Міністр оборони США Еш Картер (Ash Carter) заявив, що хакери отримували доступ до несекретної мережі Пентагону.

Про це повідомляє The Wall Street Journal,передає Media Sapiens

«Раніше цього року сенсори, які охороняють несекретні мережі Міноборони, виявили російських хакерів, які отримали доступ до однієї з наших мереж», - сказав Еш Картер під час свого виступу у Стендфорндському університеті в четвер.

Більш детальної інформації про походження хакерів міністр не надав.

«Після вивчення інформації про їхні тактики, ми проаналізували активність їхньої мережі, що пов’язана із Росією, та швидко видворили їх з нашої системи, мінімізувавши їхні шанси повернутися», - сказав міністр.

Лідери Gентагону кажуть, що в цілому спокійні за безпеку несекретних мереж. Однак один зі службовців розповів, що вразливість менш чутливих систем викликає «тривогу», пише WSJ.

За словами Картера, цей епізод показує, що Пентагон на правильному шляху, однак – далекий від ідеалу.

Торік, нагадує The Wall Street Journal, Міністерство оборони США посилило правила щодо кібербезпеки своїх великих підрядників.
