Избрание лидера партии состоялось 20 мая в Киеве на 12-м съезде партии, где присутствовали 450 делегатов из 23 регионов Украины.
Кандидат в президенты Украины, президент Всеукраинского еврейского конгресса Вадим Рабинович единогласно избран лидером политической партии "Всеукраинское объединение "Центр", сообщает Интерфакс-Украина. Как сообщает пресс-служба Рабиновича, это избрание состоялось 20 мая в Киеве на 12-м съезде партии, где присутствовали 450 делегатов из 23 регионов Украины.
"Мы хотим создать в политическом спектре центристов мощную партию, опирающуюся на все регионы Украины, объединяющую в своих рядах тех, кто никогда не был на государственных должностях, в Верховной Раде или Кабмине", - сказал Рабинович в своем выступлении. Он также сообщил, что в ближайшее время состоятся съезды партии "Центр" во всех регионах Украины. Новоизбранный лидер партии "Центр" также заявил, что общество и политики должны немедленно за президентскими выборами переизбирать парламент.
Рабинович подал документы в ЦИК для регистрации в кандидаты в президенты как самовыдвиженец. "Сегодня необходимо объединение, а я объединяющий кандидат. У меня нет маниакальной жажды власти, я просто хочу помочь стране. Думаю, я - идеальный кандидат, особенно в нынешнее непростое время", - сказал он журналистам возле ЦИК после сдачи документов. Ранее сообщалось, что из-за почитания субботы кандидат в президенты Рабинович примет участие в пятничных теледебатах.
