Християнсько-демократичний союз (ХДС) Ангели Меркель, за попередніми результатами, переміг на недільних виборах у федеральній землі Саксонія-Ангальт.

Про це повідомляє "Європейська правда" з посиланням на Spiegel Online.

ХДС набрав 37,1% голосів, поліпшивши показник виборів 2016 року, коли за них проголосували 29,8% виборців.

Друге місце зайняла правопопулістська "Альтернатива для Німеччини" з 20,8% голосами виборців - результат гірший у порівнянні з минулими виборами (24,3% в 2016 році). 

Ліві і СДПН, за попередніми даними, досягли найслабших результатів в історії виборів у цій землі з 11% і 8,4% відповідно.

"Зелені" не здобули додаткових переваг завдяки своєму зростанню на федеральному рівні і отримали 5,9%. Вільні демократи мають 6,4%.

Оглядачі називають перемогу ХДС в Саксонії-Ангальт добрим сигналом для ХДС та її лідера Арміна Лашета напередодні парламентських виборів у вересні.
