У Великій Британії завершили підрахунок голосів на всіх виборчих округах і став відомий остаточний розподіл місць у Палаті громад – нижній палаті парламенту. Про це повідомляє "Європейська правда" з посиланням на ВВС.

Переможцем виборів стала Консервативна партія прем’єр-міністра Бориса Джонсона, яка отримала 365 місць з 650, що на 47 мандатів більше, ніж на виборах 2017 року.

 
 
 

Це – найкращий результат консерваторів з 1987 років, коли на "торі" перемогли на виборах під керівництвом Маргарет Тетчер.

Такий результат дозволить консерваторам одноосібно створити більшість у парламенті та нарешті ухвалити угоду про Brexit, про яку Джонсон домовився з ЄС. Необхідний мінімум для ухвалення рішень в парламенті – 326 голосів.

Другою стала опозиційна Лейбористська партія, яка отримала 203 місця в парламенті, втративши 59 місць у порівнянні з виборами дворічної давнини. Для лейбористів це найгірший результат з 1935 року. Лідер партії Джеремі Корбін вже пообіцяв піти у відставку.

Третє місце посіла Шотландська національна партія – 48 місць (+13), четвертими стали Ліберальні демократи – 11 мандатів (-1).

Ще 23 місця в парламенті розподілилися між невеликими партіями. Євроскептична партія "Brexit" до парламенту не потрапила.

Явка на виборах склала 67,5%, що на 1,5% нижче, ніж на виборах 2017 року.
