Італійський автовиробник суперкарів Lamborghini подарував Папі Римському Франциску спортивний автомобіль, понтифік вирішив продати авто на аукціоні.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на ANSA.

Lamborghini подарувала Папі Римському персоналізовану модель Huracan білого кольору із золотими смугами на кузові та дзеркалах.

Франциск залишив свій підпис на капоті і тепер авто відправлять для продажу до аукціонного дому Sotheby's. Подібний суперкар, як правило, коштує приблизно 200 тисяч євро, але ця модель, очевидно, буде продана за більшу суму.

Отримані від продажу кошти будуть спрямовані на чотири благодійні проекти, в тому числі на відновлення будинків та християнських церков на Ніневійських рівнинах в Іраку.

Серед інших проектів, які будуть фінансуватися Папою, допомога жінкам, які постраждали від торгівлі людьми та проституції, та фінансування двох італійських об'єднань, що діють в Африці.
