Польская оппозиционная партия "Гражданская платформа" на съезде в субботу избрала депутата и заместителя спикера парламента Малгожату Кидаву-Блоньскую кандидатом в президенты.

Об этом сообщает Европравда.

"Я буду президентом всех поляков", - заявила она членам партии после тайного голосования, в ходе которого 700 делегатов партии избрали ее.

Как возможного кандидата рассматривали также мэра Познани Яцека Ясковяка.

Кидава-Блоньская столкнется с популярным консервативным президентом Анджеем Дудой, а также с кандидатами меньших партий на выборах, которые, как ожидается, состоятся в мае.

Результаты последних социологических опросов указывали, что действующий лидер Польши Анджей Дуда во втором туре президентских выборов победил бы любого из ведущих оппозиционных кандидатов.
