Опозиція Вірменії відповіла відмовою на пропозицію прем'єр-міністра країни Нікола Пашиняна провести позачергові парламентські вибори для врегулювання політичної кризи.

Про це повідомляє "Європейська правда" із посиланням на DW.

"Ми не згодні на їх проведення, якщо Пашинян перебуватиме при владі", - заявив кандидат опозиції на пост прем'єр-міністра Вазген Манукян перед учасниками мітингу в Єревані.

За словами Манукяна, після відставки Пашиняна необхідно сформувати тимчасовий уряд і лише потім призначити протягом року позачергові вибори.

"Ми побачили, як він із залученням адміністративного ресурсу зібрав мітинг, привів 15 тисяч осіб з областей, ми побачили, як він вів війну, і ми не хочемо, щоб він точно так же провів вибори", - додав один з лідерів вірменської опозиції, який зібрав на базі 17 партій "Рух з порятунку Батьківщини".

Нагадаємо, політична криза у Вірменії загострилася 25 лютого. Генштаб Вірменії опублікував заяву з вимогою відставки прем’єр-міністра країни Нікола Пашиняна після його рішення звільнити заступника керівника Генштабу. 

Опозиція Вірменії, яка давно вимагає відставки Пашиняна після поразки Вірменії у війні в Карабаху, підтримала вимогу Генштабу.

Прем’єр назвав це "спробою державного перевороту" та заявив про рішення звільнити главу Генштабу Оніка Гаспаряна.

Президент Армен Саркісян відмовився підписувати проєкт указу, заявивши, що він суперечить Конституції. Після цього Пашинян подав його повторно.
