Активістки обливали себе молоком, намагаючись зірвати виступ Сендерса. Присутні на мітингу несхвальними вигуками і свистом зустріли активісток і чекали, поки охорона виведе їх зі сцени.
Сандерс пожартував про цей інцидент пізніше, сказавши, що "це Невада, завжди є невелике хвилювання без будь-яких додаткових витрат".
