Песков опроверг информацию СМИ о 50 миллионов рублей, которые заплатили за создание сайта. По его словам, сайт стоил 20 миллионов, а еще 30 миллионов ушло на создание и поддержку множества сайтов, например, для полпредов и различных президентских комиссий.

Дизайн сайта президента России решили обновить спустя пять лет после создания предыдущей версии, отметил Песков. «Технологии, пристрастие аудитории к дизайну, они меняются достаточно быстро, может быть, быстрее, чем хотелось бы, появляются новые сервисы. Предыдущий образ сайта создавался около пяти лет назад, так что вполне естественно, что сайт главы государства должен соответствовать всем потребностям времени», — рассказал он.

Дизайн сайта президента России обновился в среду, 8 апреля.
