Колишня представниця США при ООН Ніккі Хейлі офіційно оголосила (https://twitter.com/NikkiHaley/status/1625461899218280448), що висувається на участь у виборах президента у 2024 році. 

51-річна Хейлі у 2010 році виграла вибори на посаду губернатора штату. Після шести років на посаді, у 2017-му, Трамп призначив її послом при ООН.

Через два роки Хейлі пішла з дипломатичної роботи й заснувала власну організацію для проведення політичних заходів та комітет політичних дій "Встань за Америку". Через них вона підтримувала кандидатів-республіканців в інших штатах.

Хейлі стала першою конкуренткою Дональду Трампу, який вирішив спробувати піти в президенство вдруге.
