 Редакція New York Times підтримала Камалу Гарріс на виборах президента США. Про це заявили на сайті одного з найбільших у світі видань.

Видання називає Гарріс "єдиним патріотичним вибором".

Трамп, на думку газети, "принизить цінності, кине виклик нормам і зруйнує інститути, які зробили нашу країну сильною". Його звинувачують у бажанні знизити податки для багатих і "дружити з автократами" на кшталт Путіна й Орбана. 

Газета вказує на недолік кампанії Гарріс. Вона "захищена від складних запитань" від журналістів і робить ставку переважно на те, що є "єдиною життєздатною альтернативою пану Трампу".
