Хакери вкрали дані від більш 60 млн акаунтів користувачів хмарного сервісу Dropbox.
 

Кіберзлочинцям вдалося отримати доступ до корпоративної мережі Dropbox, зламавши акаунт співробітника компанії. Як пише Media Sapiens з посиланням на TechCrunch з посиланням на свої джерела, для цього хакери використали пароль цього співробітника з LinkedIn, який раніше також був зламаний, 

Патрік Хейм, глава з безпеки Dropbox, завірив, що компанія вжила заходів, аби її співробітники більше не використовували одні і ті ж паролі на роботі.

«Таким чином, це не на 100% провина Dropbox, хоча це й провал стандартів безпеки всередині компанії. Цей випадок ще раз підкреслює небезпеку повторного використання паролів, особливо в корпоративному середовищі», - пише TechCrunch.

Компанія Dropbox попросила користувачів, які зареєстровані на платформі з 2012 року і раніше, змінити паролі.

Нагадаємо, в 2014 році хакери заявили про викрадення майже семи мільйонів паролів до Dropbox. Інший відомий випадок витоку даних Dropbox був у 2012 році.
