Участники гонки за выдвижение кандидатом в президенты СШАДональд Трамп и Хиллари Клинтон слегка опережают своих соперников перед стартом праймериз, сообщают в воскресенье американские СМИ со ссылкой на результаты опроса.

Согласно данным издания Des Moines Register, известного в США своими точными опросами в преддверии выборов, за Клинтон готовы проголосовать 45% демократов штата Айова, где в понедельник стартуют праймериз. При этом за ее основного конкурента Берни Сандерса выразили готовность проголосовать 42% опрошенных. Это означает, что Сандерс продолжает сокращать отставание от Клинтон, отмечают наблюдатели.

Со своей стороны, республиканец Трамп, согласно результатам опроса, пользуется в Айове поддержкой 28 республиканцев, готовых проголосовать на праймериз. Его ближайший преследователь – Тед Круз (23%), а на третьем месте (15%) – Марко Рубио.

В президентской гонке в США на данный момент участвуют 12 республиканцев и трое демократов.

Как известно, в США в понедельник, 1 февраля, начинаются первичные выборыДемократической и Республиканской партии для определения их кандидатов на выборах президента 2016 года.
