Після оголошення результатів референдуму у Великобританії про членство в Європейському Союзі петиція з пропозицією провести повторний референдум за лічені години зібрала 100 тисяч підписів британців, необхідних для розгляду питання в парламенті, пише УНІАН

"Ми, що нижче підписалися, закликаємо уряд Її Величності виконати правило, що в разі голосування в підтримку "залишитися" або "піти" (з ЄС – ред.) менше ніж 60% при явці менше 75%, повинен бути проведений другий референдум", - йдеться в тексті петиції.

При цьому, згідно з британським законодавством, парламент країни зобов'язаний розглянути петицію, якщо вона збере 100 тисяч голосів. Петиція зібрала необхідні 100 тисяч голосів за кілька годин, однак люди продовжують під нею підписуватися.
