После того, как Марк Цукерберг публично высказал о несогласии с ужесточением миграционной политики США по указу Дональда Трампа, намекнув новоизбранному лидеру американского государства о своих интернациональных корнях, один из пользователей соцсети Facebook нашёл доказательства украинского происхождения Цукерберга. И хотя сам Марк в своей заметке не упоминал, что у него также есть украинские корни, пользователь по имени Oleg Ayzin нашёл подтверждения того, что у Цукерберга есть бабушка, которая родилась на территории современной Львовской области.
Как передаёт PRпортал, вокруг украинских корней Цукерберга началась нешуточная дискуссия: одни пользователи отмечали, бабушка Цукерберга по имени Минни Цукерберг (Визенталь) в 1930-м году родилась не во Львовской области, ведь тогда не существовало Украины как государства — она была поделена между Советским Союзом и Польшей. Однако, интернет-расследование показало, что она родилась в городе Сколе — городе современной Львовской области.
Сам Марк Цукерберг пока никак не комментировал «детективную деятельность» одного из своих подписчиков, но вокруг личности создателя Facebook уже давно ходили слухи, будто бы он имеет украинские корни. Теперь же, судя по выводам из дискуссии пользователей Facebook, эти слухи получили подтверждение.
